Our Annual Multicultural Marriage Retreat is a one of a kind event that is held in Houston and hosts 120 couples, for FREE. To our knowledge it is the only multicultural retreat that is held annually in the United States in three different languages. This two-day event begins on a Friday evening and continues through Saturday as couples from a variety of racial and ethnic backgrounds come together to celebrate all that makes marriage grand. To honor the diverse population that resides in Houston we offer four groups: English-Speaking, African-American, Spanish-Speaking and Mandarin Chinese.
Spending time with your spouse is one of the greatest gifts we have. To commemorate this special time, married couples far and wide dedicate time to embrace their union and learn ways to make their marriage even stronger. Seminars on the cultural impact of communication, romance, finances, and family are available.
This unique event is a wonderful way for married couples, young and old, to breathe new life into their relationships. Our couples get the chance to break their daily routine and really focus on enhancing their marriage. Each group is led by trained marriage facilitators that have a passion for educating others on how to create and sustain a healthy relationship!
This two-day event includes:
- A Hotel Night Stay
- Friday Night Dinner
- Saturday Breakfast and Lunch
One of our sessions is focused on romance and how to keep the flame alive between you and your beloved. Another session focuses on communication as an essential part or your relationship. You and your spouse will learn new skills to communicate and strengthen your bond. Our final session is all about commitment and what it truly means to have chosen to build your life with your partner.
This delightful weekend concludes with a very moving renewal celebration. Words cannot capture how heartwarming the renewal celebration is. You can feel the love in the room. As a special keepsake, each couple will receive a portrait to take home as our gift. We hope the portrait will be a lifelong reminder of your renewed commitment to one other.
